Hometown boys, hometown rager. It’s up on Absolutepunk.net right now, (Watch it there, then watch it again here) but I’m posting it here cause I was sore for a good week post show. I’ll do what I want.
Long ago before this blog was officially UndergroundAlliance.org I posted a litany of woe over Valentine’s Day on this very blog. While last year was an angst ridden trot through my high school album collection. This year I’m gonna work out something a little more tasteful. I am assembling a short little video playlist for you guys to either woo your significant other or just purely enjoy. These are songs I’ve jamming lately they include friends and artist that I feel you should be aware off. Its only five videos so take a break and enjoy for a little bit.
So look at this bizarre love/hate holiday one way or another. The first way is that it’s Valentine’s Day, celebrate love and what not. Or look at this as just another Thursday and this is just a cool playlist to enjoy. Smile kiddies there’s not enough time to frown anymore.
Happy Valentine’s Day ya filthy animals.
Love, Jacob P. Overholt
TL;DR If you find love hold tight but if it gets away I promise it will return in one form or another. Through your friends, your family, your work, or that significant other. It isn’t always romantic like the fucking Notebook so don’t fret that Ryan Gosling isn’t at your door because I guarantee something is, you just don’t know it yet.
As always my ask box is open for all forms of conversation, and tweets will not go unanswered for @UG_Alliance
Modern Baseball review/contest tomorrow, I promise.
I have never really enjoyed BMTH but this song, it gets under my skin and I really enjoy it. Also can we confirm this song is a MGS reference or is it just a coincidence? Either way if the new record keeps up this quality I may have an interest in giving it a spin. As a student of video I must the Art Design and odd production aesthetics are really something as well.
